Jo raised an eyebrow, surprised and slightly worried he hadn’t known about the deaths. “There were a couple of vamps down at that old hotel down the road.” She told him, ordering herself a beer. She stuck her tongue out at the look on his face when he mentioned Adam. “He is at the Roadhouse, with my mom.” She laughed.
“His arm isn’t up to par yet after he went after that damn ghoul by himself.” Jo rolled her eyes, her expression dripping with exasperation and adoration. She couldn’t help but notice the three empty beer bottles in front of Sam. Since when is he the drinker? “What about you? Where’s the rest of the pack?” She asked, meaning Dean and Raina.
Sam rubbed his head sheepishly at the look on her face. “I know, I’m slacking. I had other things on my mind.” He could tell her now about what the job had been, but he didn’t feel like bringing it up properly. And he was a little too buzzed to realize she might want to know. He shrugged. “Well, at least they’re taken care of. Good job, Jo.” He saluted her with his beer before taking a swig. When she mentioned Adam going after a ghoul by himself he grinned a bit.
“Yeah, hunters tend to get a little reckless when things are personal.” He chuckled. “And us Winchesters are the worst.” When she asked where Dean and Raina were he sighed and played with the label on his beer. “I’m not sure where Dean is. Probably celebrating his freedom in a very.. biblical way. And I think Raina’s at the hotel.” Yeah, Sam was avoiding her. Things had been a little awkward since they’d woken up to find her curled up into him with his arms wrapped around her the other day. She’d gotten another hotel room and kept things strictly business ever since. Which felt weird by itself! She was one of his closest friends. He wondered vaguely if this was how Jo had felt before she’d gotten over Dean. But, true to form, Sam wasn’t going to remind her about something she considered a little embarrassing. Especially not now that she’d moved on.
It had been a long night. Jo hadn’t wanted to work this case alone, but bodies were dropping fast and Adam’s arm hadn’t healed properly yet. So she had headed out to Lincoln Nebraska, promising him she’d call when she had it all under control and making him promise not to tell her mom she had give after a couple of vampires by herself. It had taken her a day to find where they were hiding. When she first checked out their little “layer”, she discovered that they weren’t turning people, just keeping them locked up for a few days, then draining them. After that she had come up with her plan. The next night she waited for them to grab another victim, and followed them “home” while they weds in their blood frenzy. Jo watched as the female played with her food, disgusted. So very quietly she came up behind the male and cut off his head, twisting as quickly as possible to avoid the now attentive and pissed off female. “What? Was he special to you?” She goaded, circling the vampire. The monster just hissed at her, flashing her fangs. “Awh, now now. No need to be rude.” She continued to tease, and pick, hoping she would make a move. Jo wasn’t disappointed, the vampire leaped at her aiming for her throat. She had just enough time to back away and slice the bitches head off. After she had freed the prisoners, and cleaned her weapons, Jo made her way back to her hotel room and showered. When she got out she checked her phone. ‘3 fucking am?’ She thought, assuming Adam was already asleep. Jo knew she wasn’t going to sleep so she slide on the jacket Adam had let her borrow and headed down to the bar she had seen on her way in. Drinking alone was always better than her nightmares. As she made her way through the front doors she scanned the room for a secluded corner table, shocked to see a familiar face. She made her way to the friend, sitting down at the table. “Hey Sam.”
Sam was on his third beer, avoiding going back to the hotel and seeing Raina and Dean, when Jo came in. He had to admit, he was glad to see her, if not a little surprised. “Jo, hey, what are you doing in Lincoln? Ah shit, there isn’t a job here is there?” Sam had been a little lax on his hunter duties in the last week, he’d been so focused on Dean he hadn’t even checked to see if there was anything going down in this city. It had just been the place Dean ‘sold’ his soul. Sam grinned.
“Where’s Adam? You guys still hunting together?” Sam wiggled his eyebrows teasingly.

The demon deal was done. Belle had found a way out of it, though Sam had taken credit for it, and Dean’s soul was his own again, for however long he survived. Sam was now in a bar in Lincoln, Nebraska having a beer by himself, celebrating and wondering how he’d managed to get himself a fucking haunting. He’d told Dean about Belle, but since Sam hadn’t seen her since she’d given him the info into the loophole of the demon deal, Sam had no concrete proof. Plus, he’d said he was going to let her haunt him, Dean hadn’t seemed completely on board with that idea. But she wasn’t vengeful and she’d helped him, not that anyone knew the last part. For now, she was good in Sam’s book and he was keeping her around.
Then there was Raina. Sam hadn’t told her about Belle yet. Nor had he told her his feelings. Dean had said not to, that feelings just got in the way. But Sam disagreed and he was way old enough to make his own decisions. Sam’s problem was he didn’t want to lose Raina as a friend.
He could always call Cas. He’d believe Sam. And he wouldn’t tell Raina. But Sam did not want to be that drunk friend who calls at three o’clock in the morning just to bitch about their life. He wasn’t a teenager anymore. Hell, had he ever been one to begin with?
So Sam has big secrets. Awesome. He sighed. “Fuck my life.” And took a gulp of his beer.
We, as in Wynnie, who plays Belle, Ash, who plays Raina, and myself, who plays Sam, are officially looking for a new Cas and Dean. I’m not going to go into reasons why, but the people playing them before are no longer interested. So my girls and I are branching out. We’ll be deleting some posts, the ones pertaining to the current Cas and Dean and the whole angel vessel thing and editing others so that the new Dean and Cas have a clean slate.
Now, obviously, Dean is the important one (the show is about the brothers after all) but we’re quite fond of Cas, so we want both. It doesn’t matter if you ship Destiel or not, you’ll get no judgement. In fact, I’m the only one of the three of us who doesn’t actively ship it, though I really wish I could (long explanation). It doesn’t matter to us if you want to have the ship be real in the RP or keep it kind of canon. Canon isn’t necessary, as Sam is in love with an OC who has no clue of his feelings, plus he’s being haunted by a girl and he’s growing quite fond of her. Personally, I think it’d be interesting and more fun if Dean and Cas are not played as together, because everyone plays them that way and if you don’t it gives more opportunity to play with other people.
This is getting ranty. Ok! If you are interested in playing Cas or Dean, send me an Ask, on my Sam or personal blog, doesn’t matter, as long as it comes to me. Make sure it says who you want to be and gives an example of your mad RP skillz. I will show Ash and Wynnie and together we will decide who gets the slots. Please make sure you can post minimum once a week.
Feel free to apply for other characters, we’re not really a ‘group’ per se, as we’ll play with anyone from any group or fandom, and personally I’ll have Sam react accordingly to anyone mentioning something a Dean who wasn’t ours did, but you won’t find a zillion Sams or Deans or anyone else here and we’ll only play directly with the canon characters listed on our blogs. Less confusing that way. We kind of already have a Jo, everyone else is up for grabs, but please, we really need a Dean the most.

Yeah, the only reason my parents aren’t living happily ever after in the hunting business is that damn demon that got my dad. But yeah, I bet it is. Do me a favor and punch him in the arm for me? I won’t give up on him. I can feel he is worth it.
No problem there, I owe him a few good punches. I hope everything works out, Jo. Protect each other, ok? I don’t want to lose either of you.
